If it was not simple I would not understand it. Most people, at one point in their life, sincerely want to know the answer to two questions. The first question is about love and the second question is about the truth. I know the answer to both of these questions and am glad to share it with you. Many of you won't believe me anyway because it sounds to simple. Again I say to you, if it was not simple I would not understand it.
LOVE
Many have written about it. Many claim to know what it is and many claim to have it. Most people do not know what it is and they do not know how to get it, much less how to give it. There is only one way to get love. Love is a gift. It must be accepted. It is that simple. There is only one source of love. It comes from God. He gives it to us freely but we must accept it. God is love.
If you believe what I have said so far then you are more susceptible than most. Most people will stop right here because they know that love is more complicated than that. Those of you who read on are smart enough to realize that when God gave us love he knew that many would not accept it because it seemed to easy.
Since God is love, he is the originator of the gift. However, just like any gift, it is our gift and we can do with it what we want. God freely gives the gift of love to every person that has ever walked on this earth. He loves each and every one of us exactly the same. He is much like our parents, they love you no matter what you do or say. Parents freely give their love to their children. But, just like Gods' love, it is up to us to accept the gift.
Why do most people have so much trouble with love and relationships. It is because they do not realize how simple the concept is. They do not know where it came from. Most people think that they must do something to deserve love. That is simply not true. When people experience love it is good. It is so good that they think it is a worldly concept. Love did not come from this world and the source can not be replaced.
Let me say it again. If it was not simple, I would not understand it. Love comes from God, and it is a free gift to you. All you have to do is accept His gift.
If by some chance you are still with me, and long to know how simple it is to love others, then read on. God freely gives you His love and it is yours if you accept it. You must love others just like He loved you. You must give love to others regardless of who they are. It is up to them whether or not to receive your love. You can not choose who you give His love to. It is easy to give love to those who give love to you. But, that is not how love works. You must love those who are hard to love just like you love those that love you.
TRUTH
When people accept Gods' love they always want to know the truth. Once again the truth is like love, it is so simple that most people do not accept it as the truth. If the truth was not simple, I would not understand it. Here is the simple truth: Only God can give you the peace that you are searching for and it is a gift that you can not earn. Most people do not know the truth because they will not accept what is free.
We go through this life without love, not knowing the truth, because we are searching for a way to earn and deserve love and truth. The truth is that many people do not believe the truth because they would rather believe a lie. Think about the worlds biggest lie. " Money and things will make you happy" If it was that simple then all rich people would be happy. Now I do not know about you, but believing that lie gets real complicated to me. What a paradox, most people listen to the world and want to get rich and have many nice things, only to find out that they are not any happier than they were before.
How about lie number two? "Live for today for their is no tomorrow" The world stands by this lie. Even though the world tells us this, there is not one single culture, nation, or society, that believes that there is no tomorrow. People live as though it is true, while knowing that it is not.
That tomorrow... eternal life is Gods' love. His spirit, comforter, keeps us aware of the really important gift that is available to us. He never gives up on us and never stops giving us His love. That is the truth and I know it because if it were not simple..... I would not understand it.
